  1. Source: The authors. PHC coverage represents the coverage of the primary health care network in the municipality of the basic health unit. PHC coverage was obtained from the Primary Care e-Manager of the Primary Health Care Department. The projected population for the municipalities was obtained from estimates from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (BIGS). The number of records linked to the basic health unit was retrieved from the Health Information System for Primary Care (HISPC). The number of Family Health Strategy (FHS) teams was retrieved from the National Registry of Health Establishments (NRHE). Information on psychologists, community health agents (CHA), and temporary workers was retrieved from EFTC. Employees with fixed-term contracts, commissioned positions, scholarship holders, and freelancers were considered temporary workers for the analysis
